Kai has been performing all his life, starring in commercials and modeling shoots as a child and growing up into stage productions. He has starred in three productions of The Nutcracker, an ensemble dancer/singer in Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story, and over 9 dance performances with three separate companies. With extensive dance training ranging from classical ballet to musical theatre jazz, he graduated from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts with focuses in Dance and Theatre. He then attended Pace University where he performed in his second cabaret, multiple theatrical showcases, and two plays: Pumpernickel by Keelat Gipson and Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare.

Kai started in the arts as a dancer, putting on dance shows to Michael Jackson's "Bad" album. He then trained in film editing, reaching a professional level in the Adobe Suite after only three years. They started formal dance training at the same time, starting with global cultural dance and honing into ballet, tap, and musical theatre after six years. Kai was invited to New York multiple times for the Institute of American Musical Theatre's summer intensive and for Alvin Ailey's boys in dance outreach program. He graduated from LACHSA in 2021, majoring in both Dance and Theatre curriculum. Since then, Kai has been at Pace University, for a BFA in Acting, training in stage combat, singing, and dialects.
